Newton City Hall Employee Wellness Space
In 2024, I developed a series of murals for Newton City Hall’s Employee Wellness Space. The area consisted of three rooms, with a foyer connecting to two offices. To celebrate nature and foster a feeling of serenity, I decided to explore a pond theme. I also wanted each room to have its own distinctive charm, which led me to settle upon a motif for each room: a pond scene in the foyer, herons in the office, and koi fish in the other office. Given the unique quirks of each room and the paintable space, I decided to create an all-encompassing design in the foyer, two small murals in the heron room, and a full wall mural in the koi fish room.
